Internationally people living with disabilities continue to be the poorest due to unfavorable economic conditions and due to negative attitudes societies have towards people with disabilities. Disabled girls are particularly vulnerable to discrimination due to their marginalized gender.  They face unique issues due to the intersection of gender and disability and they are more vulnerable to gender-based violence, discrimination, and stigma. This program is there to support, advocate for the rights of girls living with disabilities, improved response, and prevention of GBV as well as access to sexual and reproductive health. At the core of this program is the need to prevent disabled girls facing GBV and discrimination, equip girls living with disabilities in terms of their rights, provide education on sexual and reproductive health and advocate for improved policy on protection of those living with disabilities. This will be done by continued advocacy, awareness campaigns and workshops.
